Hi Podengo lovers !!!!! Yes that is me on the left trying to look as smooth as Spanky does on the Agility Course. It is so much fun watching and running him, but can you imagine directing a dog through a course without him understanding, slow down, sit, drop, faster, easy, this way, go on, just to name a few? It is impossible to do any venue without obedience training, you must be able to not only communicate, but the dog must understand and then be willing to obey your command. Even if you are not interested in showing or competing it is a great gift to you, others and especially your dog to give him a foundation of simple obedience. In the coming months I hope to help you set some goals with your puppy or adult dog that will be fun and not nearly as hard as you may think. I feel privileged to own a wonderful dog, but I guarantee you anyone can have a Wonder Dog !!!!
