APPPCThe American Portuguese Podengo Pequeno Club of America was founded shortly after PPPCA and we work cooperatively on events and policies, with the common goal of protecting and promoting the breed in the United States. We merged together on August 19, 2010 and are unified as the PPPCA. Our membership is the largest club of Portuguese Podengo Pequeno owners in the United States -- more than 80%!
And we just love our hardy, healthy happy little hounds!

APPMGC - Portuguese Podengo Medio & Grande ClubThe PPPCA was originally the club for all three sizes of the Podengo. Once the Pequeno was split off as a separate breed, we focussed on that size. The Podengo Medio & Grande Club focusses on the other two sizes and does a great job. Federacion Canofila de Puerto Rico Federacion Canofila de Puerto Rico is located in San Juan and accepts the registration of US-born Portuguese Podengos, including the Pequenos. FCPR is affiliated with the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Sociedad de Intercambio de la Canofilia Latino. FCPR shows are open to Podengos and it hosts many international events each year.

Canine Health and Welfare Links
