Almost 300 Portuguese Podengo Pequenos have been born in the United States. Another 112 have been imported here, most from Portugal. These numbers include native births and imports from 2001 through March 2011. We now have more US-bred Podengo Pequenos than imports. Way to go!
We love our home-grown puppies! They are well socialized, healthy and happy. PPPCA breeders are diligent at outcrossing the best foundation stock to produce the healthiest puppies.
